I've carried this recipe around with me for many years now and since sharing it on Primal Living TV a few weeks back, it's become a firm favourite for customers, team members and guests. And who can blame them? A chocolatey smoothie that's tastes just like a snickers bar? Yes, please! Thanks to its high protein content, I'd recommend consuming this smoothie straight after a workout (for muscle recovery and energy refuel) or, as a breakfast treat. It's also packed full of healthy ingredients which will ensure that you stay feeling full for longer.
Ingredients
Smoothie
- Frozen bananas
- Almond milk (3 cups)
- Cacao powder (1 tbsp)
- Peanut butter (1-2 tbsp)
- Pitted dates (1-2 (optional))
- Crushed peanuts (1 tsp)
- Vanilla protein powder (30g)
Method
Pop all of your ingredients into a blender (we highly recommend our Slender Blender), and whizz until blended!
