It's kind of, really, trying to take control before your anxiety takes control of you.
And ultimately, of course it's going to. There's times where you feel very out of control and you can't manage it. But just take a breath and slow yourself down and then just being very kind to yourself like, 'it's OK I feel this and I'm going to be OK. I'm supported hopefully by people to talk to or I've got this'.
You know, the feeling of unsafety is a really difficult one in anxiety, and those things can help us just feel a bit more safe internally.
