I love sprouts and they're packed full of incredible vitamins and minerals. If cooked properly (not overly done), your body will love you for its consumption. This recipe is perfect for the whole family and can be enjoyed any time of the year - despite its festive ingredients!
Ingredients
- Brussel sprouts (3 cups)
- Extra virgin olive oil (1 tbsp)
- Salt (1/4 tsp)
- Pepper (Sprinkle)
- Mixed nuts or nuts of your choice (1 1/2 cup)
- Agave nectar (1 tbsp)
- Cranberries (1 cup)
Method
Begin by pre-heating your oven to gas mark 5.
Oil a roasting tray and pour your ingredients in and mix around until everything is covered in the oil and syrup.
Pop the tray in the middle of the oven and roast for 30-40 minutes.
Check your Brussel sprouts are golden, crisp and soft. Once done, remove your dish from the oven and serve up! You can also add extra fresh cranberries for an added touch of sweetness.
